A bit about me

Welcome! Bienvenue and bienvenido! My name is Valerie Idiens.

I edit written and textual material to help you—writers and organizations—clearly and effectively communicate what you want to say to your target audiences. While respecting your written voice and style, I'll collaborate with you personally to edit your work and optimize the presentation of your script to suit the purpose of your writing. 

In my former career I taught English for Academic Purposes (EAP) to highly motivated ESL college-level students who wanted to have the necessary English skills to do well in their post-secondary education. This involved personalized support and coaching when editing their written work, helping them become better writers to reach their academic goals.
